Effective protection against dangerous and especially dangerous infections of agricultural animals and poultry
Application:
UNIDEZ EXTRA is used for preventive and forced disinfection of objects of veterinary supervision, including:
Composition:
The disinfectant contains a composition of alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride 5% (m/m) (quaternary ammonium compound), didecyldimethylammonium chloride 7.8%) and glutaraldehyde 12% (m/m) as active substances.
Properties:
UNIDEZ EXTRA posses antimicrobial action against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (including mycobacterium tuberculosis and spore-forming forms, such as Siberian plague), viruses (including avian bird flu virus, infectious anemia of chickens, infectious bursitis of chickens and reovirus infection of birds, respiratory and reproductive syndrome, classical and African swine fever, foot-and-mouth disease, circovirus infections of pigs type 2) and fungi (including spore-forming forms, fungi of the genus Candida and the genus Trichophyton, yeast and molds).
Quaternary ammonium compounds containing in UNIDEZ TRIO violate the permeability of cell membranes, cause denaturation of proteins, improve the penetration of active substances through the cell wall of the microorganism. The mechanism of action of glutaraldehyde is the alkylation of amino-sulfhydride groups of proteins and suppression of their synthesis. Also, glutaraldehyde inhibits the transmembrane mechanisms of ion transfer, inactivates periplasmic enzymes and dehydrogenases of microorganisms, and promotes dehydration of the bacterial cell.
All active ingredients in the product are complementary and act synergistically.
The product has a local irritating effect on the skin and on the mucous membranes of the eyes. In recommended concentrations, it does not have a locally irritating and sensitizing effect.
The working solution of the disinfectant is not corrosive and does not damage the treated surfaces.
Usage:
Disinfection is carried out after thorough mechanical cleaning and washing of the treated surfaces. The product is not compatible with anionic surfactants and their solutions.
Containers used for working solutions should be made of stainless steel or plastic and installed with maximum convenience to supply them with a concentrated disinfectant solution. For the preparation of working disinfectant solutions, as well as rinsing, use clean tap water that suitable for drinking purposes.
Working solutions are prepared by adding appropriate amounts of the product to tap water with a temperature of 5-25 ° C according to Table 1. For the use of working solutions at subzero temperatures, it is recommended to prepare a working solution with addition of ethylene glycol up to 30% of its final concentration. When calculating the concentration of working solutions , the disinfectant is considered as 100% substance.

Disinfection
Prophylactic disinfection of objects with a smooth surface is carried out by methods of mist irrigation, immersion, foam application or wiping the disinfected surfaces with a working solution at a concentration of 0.25% and a consumption rate of 0.15 L / m2 and an exposure time of 20 minutes.
Rough surfaces are disinfected with an aqueous working solution at a concentration of 0.25% at a consumption rate of 0.30 L / m2 and an exposure time of 30 minutes.
Forced disinfection (current and final) for infectious diseases of bacterial (including tuberculosis) and viral etiology on objects with smooth or rough surfaces is carried out by methods of mist irrigation, immersion, foam application or wiping the disinfected surfaces with a working solution at a concentration of 0.5 % at a consumption rate of 0.3 L / m2 and an exposure of 1 hour.
For forced disinfection (current and final) for African swine fever use:
- working solution of the agent at a concentration of 0.5% at a consumption rate of 0.3 liters/m2 and exposure of 60 minutes by a single irrigation method - for the above objects without pre-washing, having organic protein contamination, such as manure;
- working solution of the product in a concentration of 0.5% at a rate of 0.3 l/m2 and exposure of at least 15 minutes by single irrigation - for the above objects with smooth surfaces without organic protein contamination, such as vehicles.
Disinfection (preventive or forced) by aerosol spraying (in the form of mist) is carried out using generators IGEBA, SWINGTEC, Cifarelli, Oleo-Mac, Efco, AGSF-2-5, APA-20 or other similar equipment. The working solution is prepared on the basis that 1 ml of the working solution is required per 1 m3 of the room. For effective distribution of the active substance, the disinfectant should be diluted with water (1 part of the disinfectant to 4 parts of water). The working solution is sprayed with the ventilation turned off with an exposure of 3 hours.
Disinfection of livestock premises is carried out in the absence of animals. After the expiration of the established disinfection period, places of possible accumulation of disinfectant residues that are accessible to animals (including feeders, drinkers and other surface areas) should be washed with water. Rinsing of disinfectant residues from other surfaces is not required. Animals are allowed into the premises after ventilation.
It is allowed to carry out local disinfection of individual animal-free stalls, cages, equipment units and surface areas while providing intensive ventilation and the absence of people and animals in close proximity to the treated objects. The treatment should be carried out with a 0.25% solution of the agent by generating foam or by wiping the surface.
Disinfection barriers or mats are filled with 0.5% solution of the product. The disinfectant solution is replaced as needed, but at least once every 14 days.
Quality control of veterinary disinfection is carried out in accordance with the current local requirements.
Precautions and adverse reactions:
All work with the product is carried out by veterinary specialists or persons who have been trained and instructed how to deal safely with disinfectants, as well as with equipment and objects subject to disinfection.
When working with the product, follow the rules of personal hygiene. It is forbidden to drink, smoke, eat at the workplace.
Do not allow persons under 18 years of age, persons with increased individual sensitivity, persons who suffering from allergic diseases, as well as persons who have not instructed on safe work with the product to engage with disinfectant.
Production facilities for the preparation of working solutions of the product must be equipped with supply and exhaust ventilation. Flushing the disinfectant into the sewage system should be carried out only in a diluted form.
All works with the agent and its solutions must be carried out in personal protective overgarment, rubber gloves, a protective mask and goggles. After finishing work, wash your hands and face with soap, rinse your mouth. Follow the general safety rules. Application of disinfectant working solutions by wiping is allowed to be carried out in well-ventilated rooms without respiratory and eye protection. After finishing the work, wash face and hands with soap and water.
In emergency cases (spillage of the product over a large area and prolonged stay in this room), acute poisoning is possible, which is expressed in irritation of the mucous membranes of the eyes (burning, lacrimation, itching), upper respiratory tract (sore throat, runny nose, cough), dizziness, difficult breathing, nausea, itching of the skin. Exacerbation of allergic diseases may occur. The exposed person should be immediately taken to fresh air. Oral administration of warm milk with baking soda (1 teaspoon per 1 cup of milk) is recommended. If necessary, consult a doctor.
If the product gets on the skin, immediately rinse the affected area with water for 10 minutes.
If the product gets into the eyes, mucosal burns and eye cornea damage are possible, therefore, rinse eyes under running water for 10-15 minutes. Obligatory consultation of the doctor is required.
If the product gets into the stomach, give this person a few glasses of water to drink, rinse the stomach, consult a doctor.
In case of signs of poisoning (dizziness, nausea, weakness), you should immediately consult a doctor and show the label of the product.
Do not use empty containers from under the product for food and household purposes.
Storage conditions:
The disinfectant is stored in a place protected from light at a temperature from 0 ° C to + 40 ° C. Temporary freezing of the product during transportation is allowed.
Shelf-life:
The shelf life of the disinfectant concentrate is 3 years from the date of manufacture. Shelf life of working solutions is 14 days, provided they are stored in accordance with this instructions.
